Editing Exercises with Smart Edit 8-9 & Bogart SE OS 2-3 We'll follow Chet as we edit a short video project, utilizing PowerKey shortcuts and the many time saving features in the latest Casablanca Operating Systems... this is a perfect way to learn and practice the new features! LUNCH Title Effects, Title Options and Candy Factory: Making Your Sweetest Casablanca Title Screens using Candy Factory and other available titling tools. You'll also learn to use Candy Factory to create cool looking DVD menu backgrounds. Magical Transitions with Particle Magic Experience the magic of particle based transitions. You'll also play with Chet as he shares some of his favorite transition combinations you already have in the system. Day #2 Wednesday 8/11/10 9:00AM - 5:00PM (begining with a Continental Breakfast) Q & A From the 'Floor' Ask the question about any Casablanca operation or software -- time for you to get the question/s you have addressed! Chet will also have some 'back-up' lessons ready to share/teach. Advanced Graphics & Logos with Your Casablanca Bringing External Images Into Your Casablanca With Creativity & Flair! We'll bring in company logos and learn the different methods for incorporating them into our video projects. Audio Sweetening: We'll learn to use the useful functions in the Casablanca Audio Effects Pack to sweeten (clean-up and optimize( audio elements) LUNCH Advanced DVD Authoring with Arabesk 4: You'll follow Chet as together we create an intricate DVD menu with muttiple films, chapter menus and cool-looking main menu. | ||||||

You must also have the following four add-on software products installed and activated (not in Demo Mode) • Disk Transfer, • PowerKey, • Audio Effects Pack and • DVD Arabesk 4. Other software that must be active _or_ installed and in the 'demo' mode includes: • Candy Factory and • Particle Magic. You will be provided with the Disk Transfer DVD upon set-up on Tuesday morning. and LOVED it. So here is what I can say about this: I am a Macrosystem user for the past 8 years now and attending Chet's Casablanca Expert session gave me all kinds of NEW tips and tricks we ALL should and can use in our profession. Learning the tools is the biggest part of my business, Chet will help you dive deeper in the editors and the software.
